A few years ago for our wedding anniversary someone gave me a set of glasses from The Furnace. They’re a staple in my wine serving collection. They fit your hand just perfectly, there’s no stem for a klutz like me, and the wine behind the glass colors shine beautifully.
These wine glasses and tumblers came from Corey Silverman in Lakewood, CO. Corey says, “I love the immediacy found in making a blown vessel. There’s no questioning what it’s going to look like. You know the end result as you’re putting it away in the annealer. It feels great to have that kind of instant gratification in an art form.”
