A new Clay Coyote line of stovetop ceramic cookware. For a full description of what we do and how we got there, check the blog,, or visit the Clay Coyote About pages under "The Clay Coyote Story.
After 2 years of testing, we're now firmly in agreement with Paula Wolfert and many other food experts that food cooked in clay pots really does taste better.
Flameware is a completely different bird in the forming and firing. At peak temperature it becomes very soft and tends to deform so handles have to be propped. The different expansion rates mean glazes have to be reformulated and the lithium source in the clay changes (and limits) the glazes that are used.
As with all our other work, Clay Coyote Ceramic Flameware is guaranteed to perform 'as advertised'.
Check back often. We'll be adding new items shortly.... a lidded casserole, saucepans, additional skillets, tarte tatin pan with turnout dish and more. Have fun and let us know your experiences at our blog www.Claycoyoteblog.com.
